About Us

Spencer Childs , BSc (Hons), MChS, HCPC reg. CH12674

Spencer Childs has over 20 years of experience as a Podiatrist, graduating from The University of Brighton in 1995.  Spencer had a number of years experience working within the NHS, and his last role before setting up in private practice was as a Chief Podiatrist at Epsom and St Helier, working in a variety of community clinics and running the nail surgery service. Since leaving the NHS in 2002, he has run a successful private practice in Southfields, Southfields Footcare as well as a clinic in Cobham every Tuesday morning.  Spencer is dedicated to maintaining high standards in podiatry care and regularly attends Podiatry courses and conferences.  He is an active member of the Kingston Branch of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is registered with The Health & Care Professions Council.

Katharine Childs

Married to Spencer, Katharine gave up her career in Sales and Marketing within the Travel Industry when Spencer took over Southfields Footcare in 2002, to help with the development of the business. She assists with all the administration and marketing and has recently taken on the role of the clinic receptionist after 10 years of being a full time mother.
